Alumni Get-Together Summer 2007

This will be our first get-together for our alumni association. We would like organize some
type of annual event. I will post an electronic questionnaire so everyone can have input on
when would be a good date and event. Examples might be a family picnic at the beach in the
month of June or a Fourth of July get together at a park. More information will be updated.

20 Year Class Reunion

Our 20 Year Class Reunion was a great success. It was held on 28 October 2006 at the 221
Lounge and Restaurant in Chula Vista. Our committee did a super job getting everything in
place. Everyone that attended had fun and partied all night. It was great getting caught up
with friends and seeing what everyone was up to over the past 20 years. Our classmates
looked great and made the Mixer and the Reunion an evening to remember. The Class of 86
really pulled together with donations and almost covered all expenses for the reunion. Your
committee members really dedicated their time and money to make it a special event for
everyone.

Sweetwater High School Homecoming Football Game

The Sweetwater High School Homecoming Football game was on Thursday October 19, 2006
at 7:00 pm. The game was televised on Channel 4 in San Diego. This was the 60th meeting
between SuHi and Chula. The Red Devils were crushed 42-0. Keep your heads up Red Devils!
It was a good time being back at the football field and talking with alumni from years past.

at Swiss Park in Chula Vista. It was nice seeing all the different alumni from the 1950s to the

Our Class of 1986 First Annual Summer Picnic was held on Saturday, August 4, 2007. It was
a fun event for family and friends. Admiral Baker Recreation Area in Mission Valley was a
perfect location for the picnic. The BBQ was great and the company was superb.
