After working so well together, your reunion committee members unanimously decided to
keep building on the friendship and close ties that bond the Class of 1986. We have officially
established the SuHi86 Alumni Association and Alumni Committee. The association is
registered with County Records and will be our way of keeping the Class of 1986 alumni
connected. The association will function as a social club for all alumni. We have an
established business bank account and tax id number. Official records are kept and recorded
for the association.
All Class of 1986 alumni are automatic SuHi86 Alumni Association members. The Alumni
Committee will create a charter in the near future and will continue to maintain the alumni
database and website. We have an established budget and will organize fund raisers for
future events. We are going to get together at a minimum quarterly and begin to plan events
for upcoming years. Our goal is to be the continuity for the Class of 1986 and to continue to
keep our alumni in touch with one another.
No association membership dues are required. However, donation/contributions to your
SuHi86 Alumni Association will be the main source for funding our future events.
Association financial statements will be available to alumni if requested. Your
donation/contribution to your Alumni Association can be sent anytime to your Treasurer
(Tracey Phillips): SuHi86 Alumni Association, 1280 East J Street, #2, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
Your current Alumni Committee Members will be the same individuals that organized the
reunion. We welcome anyone that would like to be an Alumni Committee Member.
